US popular among European tourists

For European tourists who always loved to see the United States, but never took the actual step because of the high costs involved, this is the perfect time to actually visit the United States. The Euro / Dollar conversion never was as high as it is now. For Europeans, visiting the US is cheaper than it ever was before.

Therefore, thousands of Europeans take advantage of the weak Dollar. Last week 1 Euro was worth 1.56 Dollar and the expectations are that the 1.60 border will be passed soon. Tourist who where interested in visiting Asia or other popular destinations first are now cancelling their trips for a US vacation in large numbers, the travelling agencies say.

The continuous negative rumors concerning the US economy keeps damaging the ‘greenback’ which never was as weak as it is now. At the beginning of the century it was the Euro which was worth no more than 0.83 Dollar cent. These days it’s the Euro that overrules the Dollar.

Regardless the higher prices for oil and fly taxes it’s still very interesting for tourists to visit the US. Many people see the US as a country that must be visited at least once in a lifetime. For those people, now is the time to book a US vacation.
